Banks & Enterprises on Arc · 29

Banks, asset managers, card networks and large corporates with a named relationship to Arc. Most carry the role Integrates — they are bringing settlement, treasury or card flows to the chain rather than deploying their own contracts.

The distinction this category exists to make clear is between a founding validator and everyone else. Founding validator is a mark, not a role: an institution running a validator keeps whatever primary role it already has. Circle named eleven in its 5 August 2026 release. Several other institutions appear only in the October 2025 testnet announcement with exploratory quotes and carry no mark at all. Both facts are on the entry, with the source and the date. Questions

Why are so many entries here not Live?

Regulated institutions pilot for a long time before production. We record what we observed on the date shown rather than promoting an announcement into a launch.

What does the Founding validator mark mean?

The organisation was named as an operator of an Arc validator at launch. It is a mark on the entry, not a role, and it says nothing about whether the organisation has shipped a product.

How is status decided?

Status reflects what we observed on the date shown, not what a project announced. Every entry carries a dated source you can open and check yourself. Live can become Inactive if activity stops.
