The Index is our own shortlist of the clearest examples of real work on Circle's Arc. It is unpaid and it cannot be bought. We are choosing the first entries now; this page fills as we do.

Questions
Can a project pay to join the Editor's Index?
No. The Index is not for sale in any form, and paying projects are told so before they submit. A Listing is a paid submission and a different thing entirely.
How does a project get into the Index?
We add it. Typically because it shipped something real on Arc, documented it, and the work stands up when we check the sources.
Does paying change where a project appears?
No. Paid entries are labelled Listing, sit in the same ranked order as everything else, and use rel="sponsored". Payment never affects status, flags, evidence or the Editor's Index.
