Status

Announced for Arc · 173

These projects have stated an intention to build on Arc, and we have not yet observed a deployment or a working product. Announced is the honest status for a press release, a conference slide or a roadmap line. It is not a criticism — most real integrations start here — but it is deliberately separated from Live and Testnet so that an announcement never reads as a launch. Each entry links the announcement we saw and the date we saw it. When something ships, the status moves and the evidence changes with it.

Questions

Why keep announcements in the directory at all?

Because readers search for them, and the useful answer is usually that nothing has shipped yet. Separating announcements from live work is the point of the site.

How is status decided?

Status reflects what we observed on the date shown, not what a project announced. Every entry carries a dated source you can open and check yourself. Live can become Inactive if activity stops.

Does paying change where a project appears?

No. Paid entries are labelled Listing, sit in the same ranked order as everything else, and use rel="sponsored". Payment never affects status, flags, evidence or the Editor's Index.
